ABOUT METRIC MATTERS
Better data. Smarter systems. Clearer decisions.
Metric Matters Analytics helps businesses make better use of the information they already generate. We work across data, business intelligence, AI automation, and financial analytics to help growing organizations improve visibility, reduce repetitive work, and make more informed decisions.
Because not every metric matters equally.
Businesses have access to more information than ever. The challenge is not simply collecting more data. It’s determining what should be measured, whether the numbers can be trusted, what the information actually tells us, and what should happen next.
The right metrics should make decisions clearer, not more complicated.
Business problems first. Technology second.
We don’t start by trying to sell a particular dashboard, AI platform, or automation tool. We start by understanding the business problem. From there, we determine the right combination of data, reporting, automation, and analysis required to solve it.
What we believe
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Turning Data Into Clarity, Insight, and Better Decisions
Metric Matters Analytics was founded by William, a data and financial analytics professional with years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, business reporting, and dashboard development.
Throughout his career, William has worked with business and financial data to transform complex and fragmented information into clear, actionable insights. His experience spans FP&A, financial and profitability analysis, inventory analysis, data quality management, reporting, data migration, KPI development, and business intelligence dashboard development.
His approach goes beyond simply presenting numbers. It focuses on building the foundation required for businesses to trust their data, understand what is driving performance, and make better-informed decisions.
William’s experience includes managing data migration processes, from mapping source data to business KPIs and collecting and staging information, through to analyzing, cleansing, normalizing, and enriching datasets for reporting and analysis.
He also specializes in developing performance metrics and KPIs that provide management with greater visibility into business performance, as well as transforming complex information into intuitive visualizations that highlight important findings, trends, opportunities, and areas requiring attention.
Through the development of interactive business intelligence dashboards and reporting systems, William enables decision-makers to move beyond static reports and explore their data in greater depth. Filters, drill-down capabilities, segmentation, and other interactive reporting elements allow users to investigate performance from different perspectives and get closer to the answers behind the numbers.
Today, that foundation in data and financial analytics forms the core of Metric Matters Analytics, combining Data & Business Intelligence, AI & Business Automation, and FP&A & Financial Intelligence to help organizations build smarter, more efficient ways of operating.

THE PRINCIPLE BEHIND METRIC MATTERS
Not every metric matters equally. The right ones can change how a business operates.
At Metric Matters Analytics, we believe technology should make business information clearer, not more complicated.
That’s why every engagement begins with understanding the business problem first. From there, we identify the data, metrics, reporting, analysis, and automation needed to create meaningful results.
Because when the right information reaches the right people at the right time, every metric that matters becomes an opportunity to make a better decision.
